5 PSA’s

These 1 min PSAs were conceived and scripted by the Ovarian Psycos a collective based in Boyle Heights.The OPs use bicycles as a form of empowerment for women of color, based on feminist ideals with indigena understanding.

Commissioned by LA Freewaves as part of the city-wide project: DIS...MISS,  a multi-genre, public visual art experience, with media and performing arts components, addressing fantasies and realities of gender polarization in local and mass media, featuring commissioned works from 20 outstanding L.A. visual artists ranging from video, print, signage, billboards, performances, and more. Through this initiative, Freewaves hopes to open new avenues of thought and stimulate dialogue on new gendered relationships. See: Dis...Miss
